Tank: The Deputy Commissioners of Tank and South Waziristan Lower have announced a complete curfew in various areas on March 17, 2025, citing security concerns.
According to an official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Tank, the curfew will be in effect from 6 AM to 6 PM on the Court Fort-Manzai-Khairgi-Kariwam to Jandola route at the request of law enforcement agencies. However, the Court Fort-Gomal-Gardawi to Wana route will remain open for all types of traffic.
Similarly, as per the notification from the Deputy Commissioner of South Waziristan Lower, a complete curfew will be imposed from 6 AM to 6 PM on the Zillai to Cadet College Wana Road and Tanai to Sarwakai-Jandola Road.
Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with security forces and avoid unnecessary movement during curfew hours.
The district administrations have clarified that the roads from Wana to Angoor Adda and Wana to Tank will remain open. They have also requested residents to follow the instructions of law enforcement agencies to help maintain peace and security in the region.
